It has been a stellar year aboard the Irish Hammer. Busiest year to date. Thank you to all the repeats and first timers. Memories to last a lifetime.
Muskie season is in full swing. The Irish Hammer is in hunt mode looking for the apex predators that roam the St Lawrence River. A slow September turned into a better than normal October. To date, a muskie, just under 55 inches in length has been the biggest of the year brought in the net. I can't wait for November and December. Water temps drop and activity picks up. November and December have produced some absolute beasts on the upper St. Lawrence. The Irish Hammer will be out looking for a date with one.
